On this episode Daniel interviews John Wiegley, the current maintainer of Emacs. John talks about the state of Emacs and his plans, and also answers questions asked by the Emacs community.

Among other things, John proposes to the community to help with triage of bugs and proof-reading documentation, as ways of contributing to Emacs that don’t necessarily require writing code or being a core contributor.
